Get a hobby
Hobbies are a great way to break from the grind of school and work. Picking up a hobby totally opposite of work can make you forget and think about other things. Hobbies such as music, drawing, and dancing can improve mental health and attitude towards the day-to-day grind. It is recommended to take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour a few days out of the week to practice your hobbies. Getting a hobby is a great way to step back from the school and work hustle.
Exercise
Exercising isn’t just important for the physical benefits. Exercising is a great way to sweat the stressors of the office away. Putting on some headphones with some of your favorite tunes, pushing weight or going for a run, will definitely help you forget the day-to-day grind. If you prefer an alternative to exercise, dancing such as Zumba is a great way to move your body to the rhythm of the music. Exercise does wonders when trying to relieve stress.
Reading
So much of reading in school and work is usually business-related books or self-help books which are great but still is applicable to the workplace. Joining a book club is great for being involved in a niche community while reading books that are not directly tied to work. Diving into different worlds and perspectives. Lifting your mind into new horizons.
