Business has engulfed my daily life ever since starting my undergraduate in accounting. The world of business, including marketing, management, supply chain, finance, accounting, and many others, has connected the dots in my understanding of how the world works. The bottom line comes down to people and money. People make the world go round, and money compensates people for the work they do. Business consists of strategizing, pivoting, collaboration, innovation, and creativity. I have found a place for myself in the world of business.

In today’s economy it is so technologically advanced and money comes and goes. Ideas flow through and are not always captured. The involvement of governments and foreign adversaries interrupts supply chains. War is always a hot topic when it comes to news broadcasting. One thing is for certain: we need leadership. The world comes with many challenges such as global warming, litter in the oceans, and cost of living, to name a few. We need the right leadership to find new ground and fix some of these issues going on in the world.

I am in the industry of higher education, and I believe we are at the forefront of solving world problems with the research done at these universities. Funding is a big resource for universities to continue operations and to be able to purchase necessary equipment for deep research. Universities also communicate and collaborate with city, state, and federal officials to prioritize education and training for many industries.

I wish to be a part of the institution that is making an impact and affecting so many lives with the work we do here. The work we do here will change the livelihood of many.
